The Askoheat heating elements are generally suitable for PV systems, but only depending on the control system installed on site
If used in water containing lime, limescale-reducing measures or decalcification of the heating coil must be carried out (for the first time after 3 months, then at regular intervals). Limescale can trigger the safety limiter, cause thermal destruction or lead to pitting corrosion of the heating coil, i.e. the warranty will no longer apply!
