Cutting to length and making a connection:
Step 1
The initial piece of BOAGAZ® corrugated pipe rolled up on the spool must always be cut off by a clean cut before use. Determine the correct pipe length. Use the pipe cutter to cut the BOAGAZ® corrugated pipe to length through the casing and stainless steel. The cut must be in the trough of the corrugation. Turn the pipe cutter in one direction and tighten the pressure roller slowly after each turn.
Caution: Overtightening results in irregular cuts and deformations.
Step 2
Remove the PE sheathing with the stripping knife so that 4 corrugations remain free so that the connections can be fitted.
Step 3
Slide the nut over the corrugated pipe and position the two half-rings so that one corrugation at the end of the pipe remains free.
Step 4
Slide the nut over the half-rings and tighten as far as it will go using a spanner. After the pressure test, protect the corrugated pipe from corrosion at the transition with protective tape or shrink tubing.
