Leakage sensors are connected to level monitors such as the ENW-E12 (art. no. 110308xx) and MR-LD6 (11084413) to detect conductive liquids, e.g. in case of a pipe break. If an electrically conductive liquid (e.g. water) gets between the two electrodes, an electrical connection is created which triggers the alarm at the connected level monitor ENW-E12 or MR-LD6. The leakage sensor LKS-ZD still includes the additional feature for wire breakage monitoring at the leakage monitoring device MR-LD6.
