SAMSON TROVIS 5479 District Heating Controller uses the meter bus interface in the controller to connect up to three bus-compatible heat meters to the control system. If
several meters are to be
connected, it is recommended to use the TROVIS 5488 Meter Bus Gateway. In this case, up to 32 meters can be read out.
The values for flow rate, capacity, flow and return flow temperature as well as the meter readings of all connected heat meters are available
over an interface to the building control center. The meter coupling

thus also allows volume flow and heat output limitation for control engineering complex district heating stations. Changes to the heat meter data from the district heating controller or the control system are not possible in principle. Manipulation of the meter can therefore be ruled out. For house stations in the lower performance range, compact heat meters of several makes can be connected to the meter bus. Communication with static heat meters is also possible.

The range of connectable heat meters for SAMSON's TROVIS 5400 Automation System is being continuously expanded.
