Air in solar fluids
In contrast to water, the viscosity of fluids containing glycol is much higher. Depending on the concentration of the liquid, air bubbles need several hours to rise. Air bubbles trapped in the liquid thus remain in the volume flow and pass through the entire system.
The result: circulation, heat transfer and corrosion problems.
The air bubbles are forced to rise by the fixed resistances in the spiral tube. Installation location does not have to be at the highest point, but directly at the solar flow.
