The openWB series2 standard+ wallbox with a charging capacity of 11 kW is a modular wallbox that charges electric vehicles intelligently and safely. Due to its dynamic load management, the openWB series2 standard+ is ideally suited for both private use and commercial use with several wallboxes.
The intelligent charging station from openWB has a simple grey housing, which is provided with a stylish black acrylic front. Both the acrylic front and the housing itself are UV resistant.
The maximum charging power of the wallbox is 11 kW. Installation is possible both indoors and outdoors. Thanks to the different cable lengths of the type 2 charging cable, the openWB series2 can be flexibly mounted on any wall. Thanks to the optionally available cable holder, it is possible to roll up the charging cable carefully and neatly. In order to provide Tesla vehicles with the best possible power supply, openWB offers a separately available Tesla plug including charge port opener.
Thanks to automatic switching between single-phase and three-phase charging, it is possible to set the number of phases used for charging depending on the charging mode. Your vehicle is thus charged in PV mode with only one phase at a low starting power of about 1.3 kW up to a maximum of 7.2 kW.
If the PV power exceeds the maximum charging power, the openWB Wallbox automatically switches to three-phase charging. Please note: This option should not be used with vehicles such as the Renault Zoe models, Smart vehicles with Renault charging technology or Hyundai Kona / Kia eNiro models.
Please contact our customer service to have the automatic switching deactivated. A subsequent activation of this function is possible without any problems.
